The enemy fired at energy infrastructure facilities in Kharkiv and the Region As a result of another shelling of the russian federation this morning, April 11, in the Kharkiv Region, the thermal power plant, which powers the City, was damaged, and the transformer substation was completely destroyed.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov informed journalists about this.

According to him, despite significant destruction, the City continues to function.

"We have restored the operation of the metro, launched trolleybus and some tram routes. But Kharkiv now really needs a modern air defense system. Without it, everything we restore will be attacked again by the enemy," the Mayor emphasized.

In addition, he noted that the Office of the President and other cities and regions of Ukraine are providing Kharkiv with generators and fuel to help withstand regular enemy attacks on the energy industry.
