Today, September 2, Mayor Ihor Terekhov presented the first 40 special “Kharkiv Resident Cards” to veterans and family members of fallen defenders.
A separate design of the Kharkiv Resident Card was developed for military personnel, veterans, combatants, and families of the fallen. It performs all the functions of a standard card but offers additional benefits and discounts from partners.
In total, more than 140 partners in 12 categories have already joined the project, ranging from medical services and pharmacies to shops, gas stations, and sports clubs. Thanks to this, X-card holders save a total of over UAH 2 million every month. And there are additional privileges for military personnel: increased discounts on medical services, literature, insurance, military goods, as well as new offers from fitness clubs and educational platforms.
The card can be obtained offline at any Administrative Services Center or social security office, or applied for online through the Open Kharkiv app or the city's e-services portal. If a person already has a card with a different design, it can be reissued free of charge.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed a number of important topics. Veterans raised the issues of infrastructure accessibility, medical care, inclusion, and the creation of a future memorial complex in Kharkiv.
